Job Description

Execute plans and controls related to financial accounting to ensure the Japan branch's stable performance
and expansion in the Japanese market and manage financial accounting risks to a minimum. He / She
also implements measures to maintain appropriate order and inventory balances and creates an optimal
system to handle emergency shipments. Manage the flow of products and money, and establish a
situation where problems are not pointed out when responding to audits by the head office.

Report to : President in Japan / HQ Finance Director

Summary of Duties
- Planning and management of the Japan branch's financial accounting
- Management of Cash Forecast
- SG&A cost forecasting and analysis
- Cost reduction and budget management
- Audit support
- Reporting to head office
- Audit support for HQ
- ERP problem resolution with HQ finance team
- Training and mentoring of subordinates
- Other duties specially assigned by the president

Requirements

Required Experience
- Accounting manager or equivalent experience in a foreign company.
- CPA holder is a plus.
- At least 5 years of day-to-day accounting work.
- Experience in a finance/accounting department with IFRS or US GAAP compliance.

Skill
- Advanced level of English
- Excellent in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (pivots, v-lookups).
- Understanding of taxation to consult with a tax accountant* is a plus

a plus if available
- ERP operation, especially with Microsoft ERP (Navision)
