- Ensuring exceptional controllership across our Amazon Transportation
spending, including overseeing the monthly close process, ensuring proper
controls are in place to protect the Company’s assets, and auditing data to
ensure its accuracy
- Monitoring and driving the performance of the Amazon Transportation
functions, including overseeing preparing and reviewing daily and weekly
operational and financial metrics, and using these metrics to drive continuous
operational improvement
- Championing technology and automation improvements for the finance
function, including participating in the implementation of new operational tools
- Continuously seeking out opportunities for delivery experience improvements
and cost reduction, and partnering with operations leadership to implement the
opportunities

- BA/BS degree
- 3+ years of related experience
- Business level of Japanese language skill (reading, writing, speaking)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to convey
complex information in an effective way
- Proven ability to solve complex problems using data and metrics.
- Proven ability to develop strategic relationships with business partners.
- Superb attention to details and organizational skill

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (i.e. SQL,
MS Access, Essbase, Cognos, etc.)
- MBA or professional certification (CIMA/ACCA/Qualified Accounting
certificate)
- Previous experience in a logistics or manufacturing environment
- Excited about working in a diverse group and contributing to an inclusive
culture
- Business level of English language skill (reading, writing, speaking) is
preferred for this position
