• Responsible for consolidation and submission of local actuals and forecasts for TaylorMade Japan to global
headquarters through both automated systems processes and manual submissions
• Plays a role as Finance business partner for Product Marketing, General Management, HR/ General Admin/
Legal and IT with a focus on managing Operating Expenses and Capital Expenses for each group
• Collaborate with cost center owners to justify and present Operating Expense plans that maximize use of
company resources
• Generate Capital Expense requests and seek appropriate level of approvals (financial plan, payback
calculations, ongoing running costs, etc.).
• Partner with local HR on personnel cost planning, and with global headquarters on appropriate modeling
tools
• Maintain key system performance for consolidation and reporting for submission to headquarters and usage
by local finance controllers. Will be the local system expert for key reporting tools
• Support local management team on all ad hoc requests for specific areas of business
• Perform specific month end close and forecast processes as required
Strong analytical (quantitative as well as qualitative) skills
• Demonstrated ability to gather and analyze large amounts of data at a macro and micro level
• Outstanding presentation, reporting and communication skills
• Proven ability to multi-task, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines
• Self-starter with the ability to streamline functions and passion to learn and grow
• Thrives in fast-paced, growing, rapidly changing environment
• Strong ability to work independently and with multi-functional teams
• Fluent in both Japanese and English in both spoken and written form
Education, Work Experience, and Professional Certifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
• 5+ years of relevant experience in a corporate finance environment
• Experience with golf or sporting goods manufacturer is a plus
• Experience working in a team-oriented / collaborative environment
